A feature-length screenplay

Set in the outskirts of a fictional Brooklyn music scene, BEACON is the story of Dan, a bartender still trying to find success as a musician, and his newly pregnant wife Sara, a music manager with a client on the verge of stardom.

 

Days before Sara is to leave on a European tour, the couple decides to pay a visit to old friends, Leigh and Josh, who moved upstate years prior.

 

But when they find themselves face to face with a decade’s worth of dissolving friendships, old anxieties, and unfulfilled ambitions, Dan and Sara are each forced to question their relationship, their artistic pursuits, and the purpose of life itself.
