THE MAN FROM WICHITA

A feature-length screenplay

The years 1860 - 1900 are remembered as the time of "The Gunfighter;" an era of legendary heroes and infamous villains.

...Willy Finn wasn't either of those things. But when his reported involvement in "The Wichita Shootout of 1873" turned him into a wanted man he was forced him to assume a new life as a two-bit outlaw.

Having lived for decades on the periphery of the American West, the aging cowboy finds himself in Los Angeles in 1906, where he discovers an opportunity to correct his own inglorious narrative through a novel entertainment craze: The Moving Pictures.

Now, to infiltrate the nascent movie industry before his past catches up with him, all Willy has to do is fool everyone, including himself.
